I don't know if this female is the same one I posted Here but this one has some damage to her one wing. She should be starting on her long migration soon, and I hope she makes it to her destination.
I took this with the Nikkor 105mm and it took a heavy crop.

Don't know, actually I can't tell them apart. You get the most stunning shots of butterflies, you are the master at these Sandi - this is a big Bravo

oh yes! its that time of the year. the lens did a great job! nice choice i would say Tigs. little blur on the bottom of the wing but...not enough that you shouldnt be proud. really good DOF! im impressed.
