I had forgotten about this park, and when traveling to Fort Wayne with some friends saw the sign and for it, so I thought I would check it out the next day.
Here is some info: It is a 605 acre park with 270 acres are dedicated as a State Nature Preserve. This park contains the largest contiguous forest in the county, and a glacial sand dune. There are 7 miles of marked trails, and 6 miles offer cross country skiing in the winter, as long as there is 4 or more inches of snow.
I really enjoyed this park, and it actually hits the edge of Interstate 69. I have passed this lovely park many times, and did not know I missing something so special.
I did use photomatix to process this one. Thank you for your comments.
