Sandi - With the onset of cold weather and frosty mornings, I still amazes me that some flowers persist and live beyond those barriers. Surrounded by the dull colors of late autumn, these blooms shine brightly. A very fine control of the lighting.

Sandi, I'll tease you a little bit now: with such sophisticated photographic equipment as you have, you can view, with just one wink (☺), by the Exif data when exactly an image was taken.
But that's not important. Moore important is the quality of an image, and that's (as usual) very good again.

Those look like Anemones but I thought they were a spring flowers. Lovely image with the sprinkling of purple asters against the dried grass.
