Yesterday I took a drive around through a wildlife area, and spotted this goose sitting on her nest.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

All fluffed up and looks aggressive. Don't go any nearer. Nice find and shot.

See by its unfriendly attitude that protecting its nest/eggs has the highest priority, otherwise you probably would have been attacked, Sandi.

Although it's forced to be passive, it's in a certain way still an 'action shot' to me. Very well done, my friend!

She is displaying a very protective stance - see that a lot on our little lake behind our condo - nicely captured but if she moves off the nest after you take off. Our property manager was attacked one spring by the male and female when she got too close to a nest she didn't even know was there.

She's a good mama, for all the reasons listed above.

Really nice photograph, Sandi. Great colors and clarity. And I like the added visual interest of the arched branches!

Good capture Sandi - she looks as though she may be on the verge of becoming agressive. Top marks for getting this close :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Oh my, looks like she's warning someone to getting any closer and they can be mean. Great shot
