I took this at the local garden in town, tulips are new there this year. Toshiko the gardener told me she planted them last fall, and there is a very nice variety of color.
A very artistic portrayal of this lovely tulip Sandi. I like the way the purple ones are trying to get in on the act as well :) The lighting is superb.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
This makes a lovely sentimental artistic flower image Sandi. At the top of the tulip the light is playing with the flower to make little hearts. Nice bokeh for the background.
Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.
Love the soft focus of your image of this 'floral queen', Sandi. A very inventive and original approach, in order to handle the, for photography difficult, red color, in an alternative but properly way, my friend!
