Sandi, I don't know whether we have in Europe such an Oriole as well. I haven't seen one in my area anyhow.

Saw this beautiful bird yesterday on Facebook. My hummingbird feeder sits three feet from a window and enables me to shoot hummingbirds, Orioles and various bees and wasps at my leisure. Looks like you were pretty darn close to this guy.
