Yesterday I went some friends to Kalamazoo, Mi. to the UKC dog premier dog show, that consists of many events.

I decided to lug the camera with me, even though my friends were not running their dogs.

This was taken with the Nikon D500 and Nikkor 70-200mm VR F/2.8 lens, handheld.

Shooting info. focal length 185mm, Aperture f/4, shutter speed 1/3200, Metering-Spot, ISO 800.

Thanks in advance for your comments, I do appreciate it. I will have some more to share from this day.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Sandi, you did a fantastic job of getting a perfect angle on the rings and timing the shot to capture the dog emerging!

Beautiful dog and I like its engaged expression on the trainer.

Really nicely photographed!

Very sharp and great stop action Sandi. Even though the action is stopped the illusion of movement is still there.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

If you keep posing shots of dogs, we'll have to come up with another nickname. Tigs must be replaced if this continues. Fine shot. Excellent presentation.

Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.
