While on vacation in the Irish Hills of Michigan, I visited a lovely catholic church, and this tribute is on display on the grounds.

Since we celebrate the 4th here in the states, I thought this would be a good one to share today. I wish my friends who celebrate the day, a safe holiday. For my other friends I hope your having a pleasant day.

I appreciate your comments. Thank you!

A piece of American history and a fitting post for the 4th of July Sandi.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

Considering what the Irish pioneers did for America, it's just a modest monument. But better a small than no monument, Sandi.

A very appropriate capture for July 4th. Seen and captured perfectly (per usual)!

A very thoughtful tribute on your part Sandi.

I hope it was a special day for you.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
