The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Superb textures Sandi and I like its benign face :) I have a terra cotta one of these on my kitchen wall and the face is really rather menacing LOL I think it disapproves of my cooking.
This makes a splendid desktop - its 3D look invites touching.
So pleased to add it to the list for tomorrow for the BWC. This is #15 so I think that is enough to get started again. Thank you !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I think it is supposed to be the sun - a bit displeased with weather on earth. Nice capture and a good one for the b/w challenge.

Very nice, Sandi. The gritty texture adds character and dimension and the side light creates a little bit of mystery in the shadows.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I like this one, Sandi, because it's a very good entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge.
I like Lyn's comment above as well, because it's good news for 'B&W lovers'.
The more contributions, the harder the choice, but the more interesting as well.
Thanks for this fine one, my friend.

Very good texture and dimension created by the shadows. Good one for the challenge Sandi.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

They're both very good, this one going into my desktop wallpaper folder.
