The color is finally starting to pop, but it's very selective this year. I took a drive to one of my favorite spots, and took this shot about an hour before sunset.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

Lovely scenery. Personally, I would probably increase the exposure to lighten it a bit more so the details are more readily seen.

Looks very nice with the sunlight and shadows. I would have brightened this a bit more Sandi.

I agree with Raj and Jeff about a touch brighter as some lovely color detail is somewhat lost. But I love the winding path with the tree shadows.

That is a gorgeous image Sandi. It really has to be seen at my screens full size to appreciate it.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

I hope you brought a flashlight, Sandi. It's beautiful and colorful and understated... but it's gonna be dark soon. How far back did you park the car?

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
