A matter of precise navigation without the use of artificial equipment to find where the nectar is, ☺ . Wonderful macro, Sandi. It's somewhat too early (because Christmas time has still to come) else it would give it a spring feeling to me.

While the bee appears frozen in space, those blurs really explain the speed at which they whirl. The pano treatment gives a real sense of the scale of the flowers, from the perspective of the bee, almost like he's trying to decide which one to hit up first "So many flowers, so little time!" Cool beans.

not one of the Pano look Tigs...sorry, its just not me in the crop world. i do love the perfect blur in the background with the clarity of the bee..WOW! thats cool!! plus the blur of the wings adds to it , like Nik stated above. even the wings stopped at a faster shutter speed, would have been fine just the same. that bee has some amazing clarity! well done.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
