While at the local lake for sunset pics. this gull gave me a back lit photo opt.
Might not be the perfect photo opt for some but for my I think they have they have a beauty all their own. :)

It is very good for shooting into the sun Tigz. I too like this bird, but then I don't have to clean up their messes on a daily habit.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
We've been seeing lots of gulls over our little lake due to the strong NE winds over Lake Michigan - their calls are somewhat eerie but I enjoy watching them and I like the backlit shot.
