...or the world's shortest garden gnome? Is that a deflated squash? Holy Mackinoly, we're getting some outstanding entries for the contest. It's going to be tough on the judges.
My wife just looked at it and (because she was a farmer's daughter) said that it may have dried up but the seeds inside are still viable. They will replant and grow on their own next season. She called it Nature's way of gardening.

I love how nature provides beauty in all stages. Terrific capture, the light, colors and textures make this a unique scene, not your usual subject matter, but this works perfectly.
