Another shot I took at Black Pine last Saturday. I did not know it had it's eyes open keeping a sly watch until I downloaded it on the computer.

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.

tigs=^..^=

Thank you Tick, I should have included what kind of fox it was,(arctic marble (red) fox) and it's name is Ozzie.

Sleeping but keeping an eye on you. Is this a jackal?

Handsome looking, wonder if it is a white fox, anyway it's a super shot.

Great photo Tigz. It is a beautiful animal. According to the website it is an Arctic Marble (red) Fox. It is in the Canine section of the animals.

You did a great job blurring out the fence.

Well, as they say, sly as a fox...I thought perhaps it was an Arctic fox...beautiful animal and great capture, SAS.

If I knew I could keep my fingers I'd succumb to my desire to pet this little guy. Terrific critter but I wish his sleeping platform was more natural, and hopefully the rest of his habitat is better and more fox-friendly. I enjoy seeing animals up close like this but also respect the need for freedom.

Nice to meet Ozzie, the arctic marble (red) fox, Sandi.
It's not that enthusiastic because of a recently done nap.
Please go back again and tell it that its 'portrait' can be seen worldwide. Know for sure that it will show you a different attitude, ☺ .
Wonderful capture however, my friend!

What a beautiful animal and well taken Sandi.
It is a special place that can give these animals a happy and safe refuge at the end of their lives.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
