While on vacation, I visited Sharon Mills County Park, it's lovely well manicured park out in the country. Since Chris showed me this lovely park 3 years ago, I have been visiting it ever since. They have a lovely array of Iris, and I hit it at the right time, last year I missed their peak time. This was taken the day we shot the sunrise pics. Chris had gone back home to get things done, and it was going to be a very hot day! I decided to head over there before it got too dang hot, and then headed back to the cottage, and the hot tub (which I turned down the temp some) Ahhhh!

I appreciate your comments, thanks in advance.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Sandi, if there wasn't the bokeh phenomenon, I might have thought that the background showed a shy sister of this wonderful floral 'queen', ☺ !

Very fine Foofy Friday contribution, my friend.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I like your focal point on the nearest bloom, it has a lovely soft depth too.

Your lens certainly does a good job of showing us the structure of the pod and petals, Sandi. This will make me look closer at future irises to see if they all have the same.
