Tahquamenon Falls, towards the east end of Michigan's upper peninsula, has water that is stained gold by resin dumped into the water by trees upstream, making for some interesting and beautiful photos, like the green is doing here. Do you know what the source of the green is? Growth in the water, perhaps?

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

That is quite unusual stone work, nice capture of the water flow.

this is good! Tigs. see the slower shutter speeds, how it truly effects, leaves that little bit of blur to some great actions displayed. I wasn't even with you that day :) very well done! color, shadowing, lighting, ect ect... faved!

Fine composition with a perfect timing, Sandi. It sounds contrary, but the low shutter speed has created a dynamic image.
Very well done, my friend!

I can feel the strength of it just by looking at it. Good one Sandi.

Mighty fine camera work Sandi. It has just the right amount of blur and also texture. Getting the speed down a little lower and I don't believe the texture would have shown through.
