While at the calendar garden yesterday, I saw my first Monarch for this season.
I have at least one more shot of it to share, and will try to do more of close up.I thought this made the perfect FF post.

You're so lucky to see the monarchs in your area Tigs - my butterfly flowers have bloomed and, to date, I haven't had any visitors - wonderful capture of the monarch!!!!!!!!!!!

See at full screen size that a little flower is fallen from the bigger upper flower, Sandi. It's like the Monarch is performing an acrobatic balancing act, ☺ . The proboscis reveals however that it has other priorities now!
