While at the calendar garden yesterday, I saw my first Monarch for this season.

I have at least one more shot of it to share, and will try to do more of close up.

I thought this made the perfect FF post.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I saw my first one yesterday as well Sandi - early I thought. A lovely summer capture.

You're so lucky to see the monarchs in your area Tigs - my butterfly flowers have bloomed and, to date, I haven't had any visitors - wonderful capture of the monarch!!!!!!!!!!!

See at full screen size that a little flower is fallen from the bigger upper flower, Sandi. It's like the Monarch is performing an acrobatic balancing act, ☺ . The proboscis reveals however that it has other priorities now!
Splendid one again, my friend!

A nice capture of this, and the bokeh is great.

A nice one that has to be viewed full size to appreciate it better. Very good Sandi.

Extremely crisp, Sandi, and I like how you caught the tiny thread of spider silk that's suspending that tiny flowerlet above the monarch. Outstanding.
