Here is another capture I took last May while up in Michigan, visiting Stylo, and his wife Pam.

He had told me about this spot, and we were lucky the conditions were right that morning for this kind of shot.We were in the car, pulled over as far as we could get, and I took a series of shots out the window.

I used the Nikon D750, f/5.6 exposure time 1/200 sec. focal length 82mm Metering Pattern.

Fresh out of the camera, I just resized it.

I appreciate your comments, thank you.

Sandi, the vapor/damp (probably caused by the relative cold water) adds to the beauty of this sunrise image.
The done effort (being there that early in the morning) has been rewarded by the quality of this capture, my friend. My compliments!

Really nice capture Sandi. Just enough light to see some of the vegetation.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Very nice image Sandi. The icing on the cake was that you didn't have to even leave the car. I have woke up early and waited for the sunrise in less than desirable conditions before.

I love how the various layers of foliage and ground vegetation rise up through the ground fog. It looks almost like the return of God (although I've heard it won't be quite this pleasant).
