Not too long ago, I posted a picture of this same Monarch in flight. Here is one more. even though this was purely luck, I have tried to take such a capture in the past, and after I took this one, with no success, so I think it could be considered a bit Manic. :)

Funny you should post this Sandi - I tried yesterday to get two different monarchs in flight with no success - Kudos!

It's hard to get those little butterflies to pose for flight captures. They just don't seem to care how you are running all over trying to position yourself for the perfect shot. Your camera just doesn't tolerate those quick movements well either. Good shot of this one even if was an accident, Sandi.
