While on vacation at Starved Rock State Park, we checked this place out for a walking area.

I took this through fencing, so not the best! Thanks for commenting.

The Tigs I know used to jump these fences for a good close up. Now I expect you to get in real close so that I can see the gleam in his eye. Oh, and by the way....I don't see the rock in the title.

This bison is quite the lumberjack. Nice stack he's building.

I think you're close enough, Sandi, with all the goring we're reading about this season in our parks, we don't need our Tigs in any danger!

Reading Roger's funny and perhaps somewhat teasing comment, I hereby invite him to take a close-up of a bison while he is sitting on its back. I hope he comes away unscathed, 😁
Given the circumstances, this is the best possible result to be achieved, Sandi. The impressiveness of the animal comes across best on full screen size. Well done again!

I would make sure I had a fence between me and that creature and me as well!

Good thing there was a fence, he looked like a rough character. Glad there was something in between you and this fellow. Nice capture by the way.

I am so glad to hear there was a fence between you and this enormous beast but I would never have known - its a great shot

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
