I look at this world you depict and see two scavengers, the man and the bird, sustaining on what food and things may be found in the waste. Is the factory, off in the distance, responsible for this horrid environment? Or, is it forgiven because it manufactures products needed by the masses. All the stacks are spewing smoke and fumes. So, it is quite busy in both destroying the environment and in its ability to create substance to sustain humanity. Maybe, with what it consumes in order to produce, it is the third scavenger in your picture.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Very well done, this scene depicts the wrong paths taken in our world. I truly wish these events would be made aware to everyone, to understand the ugly side of these occurrences. Faved.
