Hey all,

It's been a long time that I posted here,

Some of you might remember that I have been on (and posted about) two student trips to America,
This time, we went to India,

Here, I present you the major temple of Chennai (Madras), a gorgeous place, with loads of culture to learn from,

Hope you all enjoy this view

Kind regards
Tim

Hey Tim,

Good good to 'see' you once again. And but of course, your photography. :o)

Now then, back to your image here ...

HDR treatment?

Lighting kind of gives it away to my eyes, anyways.

Curious about whether this is indeed HDR ... and the reason I ask is, given the presence of the people in the shot there is some motion blur. Some, that is. So ... I am more curious as to the setup, EXIF data and all of that stuff that was employed (if indeed I am correct in my assumption above).

That said, very nicely composed image.

Might have been tempted to use a Levels or Curves Adjustment layer (masked, painted) to temper the differing exposure/lighting that appears between that of the upper right-hand section of the sky ... compared to that of the left.

For some reason, the 'darker' region draws my eyes. Which is contradictory to what one would think would happen.

/\ Nothing major, mind you. Could be that I viewed a tutorial video on just this subject matter ... and it is still fresh in my mind and biasing my outlook.

... ...

Right, guess my nonsensical nature and words haven't changed much since your last visit. :oP

In short this time ...

Very well composed, good good control over the technical considerations ... and a good good shot of this landmark.

Thanks for sharing this one with us. Look forward to seeing more from your trip. :o)

p.s. Hope schooling is going well for you and that my words here find all is well with you and yours. :o)

Hello Tim..this is a beautifully composed photo. Seeing the colours and the people, makes a big difference in really enjoying a photo. I really look forward to seeing more of your photography of the part of the world you live and and also where you have traveled to. Very nice. Verena

Hi Tim, Nice picture indeed! Your trip to India clearly shows where the IT development is growing this time :). You have done a good job with these adjustments. It doesn't look like it is just HDR, but much more, and I like it.

How are you voor de rest? ;).
Binnenkort opent mijn zaak officieel, ik zal een uitnodiging sturen, dan komt ge toch ook?

Grts,
Nick
