The reds are a perfect dash of flavor for this delicious shot, Tracey! Nice!

This is a good use of foreground to create a frame for the image. It really helps the red color and the sharp line of the shore to be more noticeable, and that in turn is what makes a good image really good. The water adds a peaceful element to the overall feeling of the shot.

Here's a recommendation to help do this in the future: If you stand farther away from the foreground you create a situation in which the distance between the foreground and background is smaller relative to the distance between you and the foreground. You can then shoot the photo with a high f-stop (13 - 22) which will increase your depth of field and get both the foreground and background in focus. Sharpening the foreground framing will help the image even more. Thanks for uploading this.

A most fitting photo for the title........a good place to reflect and recall and feel at home in the universe....all is right with this image.......especially the out of focus boughs which arch and frame........P.

I agree with Dante about the title. This is a very eye appealing, soothing shot.

I like your framing through the leaves, it draws your eyes straight to the bushes and their glorious colour.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

IMO the framing with the leaves may have gone a little overboard. The leafy branch on the bottom left corner takes away a lot of content from the main mojo. I know individual styles vary but I do use trees or shrubbery in the foreground to cover an unsightly part of the scene or to add a sense of depth. (Sorry... force of habit having been trained in old-school film photography.)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I say what I say because that is my honest opinion. I don't kiss ass because I find that gross and repulsive.
