I think there are two things holding this back from being "great":
1. I don't feel like the small waterfall is enough of a centerpiece to grab my interest. Everything above the water is about equally interesting and detailed. I guess I'm thinking that it needs a more dominant focus point.
2. There is not much depth. Everything in the photo is in a single plane in the background. I'd really like to see some mid and foreground included. I know this isn't always possible depending on the subject.
I love the scene setup! In the preview I thought it was a real place at first. The only thing I think may be slightly distracting is the rocks to the left of the waterfall at the bottom have a bit too much glare. Other than that, it's a great shot.
This makes a relaxing and pleasant desktop :)
