I went out to photograph some birds and got a photo of a tree. That sort of thing seems to happen quite often and I’m not complaining either :-)

expect the unexpected :D i'm glad you've taken this shot, it's a perfect combination of an interesting tree silhouette and a beautiful sunset. i've always loved silhouettes on the sunset shots, they tend to increase the beauty of the image and add great lighting contrasts. so does this one.. this is one of your best works :) but my favourite has always been and always will - little gidgit :D

You, the tree, the sun, the clouds: the teamwork is striking. Oddly, for so quiet an image, the mood is less one of peace as ... excitement! This image could well be used in a textbook on composition. Thank you.

Lucky you. Super pic. The sky is groovey man...I had to do that...haven't used that since the 60's. I'm running out of cool things to say about pictures so I'm reaching deep into the bag. It is a very nice pic.
