He totally captivated me for a while. He would land on a perch so close that I had to keep backing away to get him in focus. At one point I put my finger in front of him and he hopped on just like a budgie would.
Hey there Robert...this is a great macro shot or close-up! if your prefer!....Crackin!
How the hell did you train this, to do your commands Never seen a budgie this colour...'Pretty Polly'?
I think he would be a lovely centerpiece on a table....and I am happy for you that you had the enchanting company of this lovely creature and shared with us!

Hi there Robert, Master of Acrobatic Dragonfly Shots ! I hope some day I´m able to train one to sit still in front of my camera too..(I doubt it..)
Very nice macro !
Wow! God must have had so much fun when it came tocreating the animals in Australia!! I had never seen a dragon fly so brilliantly red before. Cool shot - and thanks!
He looks like he's in the mating position.. I got a picture of one similar to this (thought my auto focus wasn't working (still isn't) so it came out a bit blurry (i'm not that great at manual), but is a blue dragon fly :) Great shot, Thanks for sharing :)
Awesome picture, and I agree with what everyone has said so far... I'm not sure I like the way you set this off-center, though. I'm a stickler for symmetry!

The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
