Oh mercy. I love the bird but I can't believe the clarity in the wooden post it's sitting on. That is awesome. The birds feathers are super sharp as well. It must have sat there awhile for you to get that great focus. Is this ever a "keeper". I really didn't expect this from the title and am not sure how the title fits in unless you named the bird "Willy". By the way, it will be a big mistake for others viewing this not to download it to really appreciate it. Wonderful capture. I really mean that.

Now that's a name that's hard to forget! Like his ruffled little chest and that pale pink color. He does look ready to scold you. Hes pretty against that pale blue sky and that log is a perfect perch. Very clear image. High marks for you...

Wagtails have always been one of my favourite birds. They think they are so fierce! And I guess they must be, since I have seen them chase away much larger birds.

I’ve seen that too Sam and wondered how they get away with it.

Great capture! (what's new?) I love how you centered the bird and pushed the log off to the left rather than putting them both in the center. As for the detail and clarity... nothing short of amazing. Once again, great capture. 10/10 from me.

That is great! I have never seen a bird that could "show it's eyebrows". It's very cute, it has alot of character to it. And it's a good photograph.
