Lu 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

that is crazy. looks like one hell of a storm. i would not be even half as close to that as you. definately one thing i do not miss about australia. but you did such an awesome job mixing this together.
Stunning shot of lightening - or should I say a *crackin" shot :) Marvelous blending of two views. The colours are lovely, especially the blues. I like when you have fun, Robert :)
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Fantastic Robert, I wonder how long it took you to get such a seamless shot. The lightning is placed just right to make the lighthouse the centre of the storm. Faved this.
Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.
84?!? ok, now I'm convinced beyond all doubt that scores are meaningless here. This is, by far, one of the best images I've seen on this site. faved, and assigned a spot on my HD. Kudos!
Oh my goodness!! I had not seen this posting of yours!! It was on the main page, and I am totally in awe of this creation! Are you saying this creation is one you put together with TWO photos? Or what do you mean? Lightning is such a frightening thing, yet we all seem to be drawn to photos of it somehow. You did a magnificent job on this my friend!! Just amazing. I would call this "wicked good" !! Hugs to you..Verena
amazing work Robert...a certain keeper too!
