Holy cow!! There's being in the right place at the right time, but you still have to be able to capitalize on that! Truly amazing shot, Robert! The clarity of the moment is stellar. I could ask for the exif info, but only as a matter of curiosity. I don't think I'd ever be able to duplicate anything approaching this one. A hearty congrats to you!
I wondered what gems I might have missed from you in recent weeks...what an exciting discovery to see this one!...super action shot, Robert, and marvellous clarity...your skills come through with 'flying' colors on this one.

An amazing act - I can't imagine how he got back on his bike!
And still you managed to get a well composed shot. The clarity is delightful, as is the sky. Thanks Robert, for this shot of flying high and free :)

Well done on capturing this special moment Robert

At first, when I saw it in the V.B, I thought, this is a manip! But this is real photo, from the 'master' of caedes!!!!
Excellent work, Robert!!! a 10!

This shot is so crisp and clear it looks frozen. The curve of the man's body and the arch of the bike seem like they are molded together as one.
Most excellent!

This is an amazing shot...super clear and perfectly timed. It really shows you how good these people really are. It also shows how good YOU really are too!! Very nicely done!
I too just ran across this in Featured Imaqes. I can see why it is being featured. I agree with Michael about it being SI material. You have set the bar high for the rest of us. That's a good thing. Excellent capture and the extremely high marks are deserved. They should be higher Robert.
A perfect 10 if the rider only put his feet together and pointed his toes. But your photo is an 11. One of the best EVER on Caedes. If you publish this one, it would win awards. I will not bore you with superlatives except, OUTSTANDING.
Top-notch stop action photo Robert. Centering works perfect here. I have seen this done and it makes my heart stop.....scary stuff when they do it. Your timing was impeccable as were your photography skills at the exact right moment!
Thank you for sharing this with me ;=)
To my favorites it goes to live!

My long absence caused me to miss this posting. So many above mention being at the right place/right time ! There's some merit to that conclusion, however, how many members could produce the result you did by being at the "right place and at the right time" ? As far as photographic talent goes ... You my friend are in a class that has but a few members. Regardless of subject matter ... the results are always the same ... EXTRAORDINARY
Spectacular breath taking shot: I imagine the landing gotta be kind of violent! Your composition and the clarity of the subject make it a great picture: Well done!
