So THAT'S what a Florida sunrise looks like. Being retired in Florida, I haven't seen any...... :) Great shot, and extra credit for the horizontal horizon!
This is a very beautiful and dramatic sunrise, but I think it would have more impact if you were to crop it substantially so the "fire" is closer, and thus constitutes more of the image. (In other words . . . more fire, less sky.)
I think that the contrasts you're getting from the blue in the sky and the very dark clouds are enhancing this picture. I think you did a great job on composing this :)
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Love it. Was there much in the way of post processing for this? If so can you give us an insight into curves and masks used to create this as the overall effect is, in my opinion, absolutely superb.
Israel,
This is a great sunset photo. That emerald green sky totally pushes the whole thing up a level, you need to keep it right where it is! The image is a bit noisy, but lowlight clouds so often are, in my camera at least. :) Sweet image mate.
OHMYGAWD!!!!! I have never ever seen such beauty. We have gorgeous sunsets in ORegon at the Pacific Ocean...but never ever have I seen colours like your sunrise!! I would love to do this as a canvas painting one day, if you'll give me permission. I would be sure and take a photo of it and let you see how it turned out. You took a beautiful photo here..Verena
