Beauty. What did you do to get it to this resolution and color correction?

The image came as is... in that (very high) resolution, and I just resized the canvas to 1600x1200 with a black background. No color correction done :)

"not to(o) original"

It's by NASA, I love them as backgrounds, and its in the public domain. I don't take credit, but I do have a huge collection (over 100 MB) of hi-res NASA images I've collected over the years, so I thought I'd share.

So, yes Joby, I do have more. This one in particular came frome a beautiful montage of 5 or 6 of saturn's ring angles (from straight-on (ex: --o-- ) to almost oval (ex: <o>)) I chose the one that looked the best...

Once again, I take no credit, but only like to share these great images.

yes thank you very much for sharing and honestly the only way we are going to get original nasa pictures is if someone was an astronaut <its possible but not too likely> and it is quite lovely

Yeah, as a matter of fact, I did hack into the NASA computer system ;-) Since all NASA images freely and publicly available ;-) And I went to the web site and there they were just waiting to be taken. ;-)

They are great though, aren't they. :)

What do you think of the Cassini mission ans Huygens probe? This was a great NASA picture, but now history books are being rewritten. Give me your thoughts.
