This is my quest, to follow that star...No matter how hopeless, no matter how far...To fight for the righ, without question or cause...To be willing to march into Hell for a Heavenly cause
A long overdue 'Welcome to Caedes'. :) A beautiful fall scene with a good perspective with the road leading into the depth of the scene. A wonderful job!

I left you a comment here about 5 years ago, Kathy, about your first posting. Obviously you have upgraded your camera since 2008, as many of us have, but the image is still strong for me in all that glorious color. Back in 2001 my wife, our youngest son and I drove nearby, across Green Bay and south of Marinette, and we fell in love with the wooded nature we found (in most jokes, the state tree of North Dakota appears to be the telephone pole). The older photo may have focus that is a little soft, but it conveys everything I would want to know about the place, and stir a desire to visit it. That is, after all, one of the major goals of photography, and you nailed it.

I also just counted your submissions. 3,319!!! Holy Mackinoly! You must have never removed a post, Kathy (a mistake I made many times since 2006), and we are all the richer for it.
