I do see what Les is talking about, for me this works best in the smaller sizes, and is beautiful when viewed that way.

Lovely closeup of these two lilies, Kathy! I especially like the vivid colours and the soft glow about the larger lily! Nicely composed and very well done!

Good composition.
To my eyes, it would appear you applied a treatment/filter to attain a painterly look of sorts? Which is more apparent at the larger resolutions.
Works well, and you achieved a nice balance of application and realism.
Kind of curious, if I have the above correct ... if the original could stand on it's own photographic merits. And yes, 'Curious Les, I am'. :oP
