Waimea, on the west side of Kauai, is where Captain James Cook first landed "discovering" the Hawaiian islands. Of course other peoples from the south seas had long ago discovered it and were living there!. This church is on the National Register of Historic Places and was built in 1921. It is no longer used as a church. All comments appreciated.

Great composition, Kathy. The HDR has really done wonders on the wall and roof - the sky too!

Such a beautiful church and such gorgeous colours and setting. That's too bad it's not used as a church now, so do you know what they are using it for Kathy?
