The title describes what I liked about this image - that and I haven't met too many yellow roses I didn't like. All comments and critiques appreciated.

There's no such thing as a bad yellow rose for me, Kathy. The subtle lighting and DOF make this stand out so well against that moody background.

Good morning, Kathy....

That's the perfect name for today's submittal. What a fragile bloom...so delicate that you can see right through it. The contrast and clarity are right on the button. And a color coordinated shaded border to wrap up this glorious package. I'm actually starting to like flower pictures.

Kathy - The rose bloom and bud are beautiful, enhanced by the background. The title is very appropriate. Well done! Thad

So very sweet, Kathy! I too, love the semi-transparency to the petals that so readily take in the sun rays! Lovely DOF and hints of pink flora in the background too! Beautiful work and presentation my friend! :) Faved + saved to enjoy longer.
