I chose this title not only because of this roses' unusual coloration but also because of the light when I was shooting. All comments and critiques appreciated.

It looks like someone dripped some paint onto the roses to come up with these beautiful blooms. A nice close-up, good details, clarity and lighting. Very nicely presented.

It reminds me of raspberry ripple ice-cream Kathy. A popular variety here in the U.K. - I'm not sure if Ben & Jerry do it though! I like how you've got a full bloom and a bud in this too.

Pretty rose Kathy! In the rose garden where I live they call this a Julio Iglasius(not sure of spelling). The singer. But of course doesn't matter what it is called you took a beautiful photo!! Thank you! Allen
