This is my last post of dahlias from the American Dahlia Society show. This one was not in the main competition and was off in the sunroom - I don't know if it was a new hybrid, a seedling or for what reason it was excluded. This beautiful dahlia was absolutely huge about the size of a dinner plate! I called her peach queen and you can see the other ladies in her court behind her. I appreciate all the wonderful comments and faves on this series. Thanks to all.

A real beauty Kathy. I really envy these people whose dahlias aren't infested with earwigs.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

Hi Kathy!

...about the size of a dinner plate - Wooooowwww! It must be absolutely fantastic to see!!! Love this Dahlia, the soft colors, but so catchy! Love it! Your series is another very rich series of jewels, like you did with the orchids, your work is wonderful and perfect with the flowers, congratulations from the deep of my heart! :-)
