Pansies are rather simple flowers by nature's standard - just 4 petals. Most times they are composed of 2 or 3 colors. This one was just simply orange of various shades. My entry for the contest. All comments and critiques appreciated.

Here we have a perfect example of why I will not post flower photos ever again. The detail is exquisite by showing the tiny folds as well as the circulatory system just beneath the surface. The color is gorgeous. The background is extraordinary. I certainly would like to know why you cropped this so tight. There must have been some nasty ugly right outside the shot.
