From my summer bins - I liked the balance in this shot - one rose at it's prime - one dying - diagonal light across the roses and dark on the other diagonal. I thought of it for the current contest but am unsure as the photographic entries seem to be about balancing or balanced design not necessarily photographic balance. I would appreciate any critiques and comment.

The focus on the petals seems a little soft compared to the leaves in the background. I suspect that is due to the lighting. A nice capture of the roses Trixxie. I like the shadows in the photo. Lovely colours and composition.
