Love lupines and I love the way this one takes a corner on it's way to view the sun. Pretty flashy purple color too.

Beautiful color, contrast, and lighting in this gorgeous shot, Kathy. Is that foofy naturally bent like that or did you do it for effect? LOL.

I was hoping for a photo of a mauve wolf with a title like this. Beautiful colours and nice details in the photo, Kathy. Maybe widen the focus to get the tip of the flower into focus.

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

Hi, Kathy...

After all these years I still don't understand how you achieve the silky look to the blooms while maintaining such exquisite detail. I know that you're a proponent of the use of lens filters, but there seems to be more going on here. Maybe some sort of software manipulation?
