This is the last of my mum shots for this fall season. This one was a rich deep golden yellow - the buds almost look like a light orange before they open. All comments and critiques appreciated.
Kathy I hate to see this series end, mums are so beautiful, and you have presented them so well. I really think you did a splendid job on the color capture here, and the contrasts of the full blooms and buds are perfect. Tigs♥ =^..^=
Couldn't you post some shots of some dried up mums? LOL. This is gorgeous, Kathy. The yellow is bold, bright, and beautiful! It make a great looking desktop!
A lovely shot of mum, Kathy. Beautiful colours in the photo. The blotchy background doesn't look all that great to me. Maybe smooth it out and go with the brown tones to accentuate the greens in the rest of the photo.
Kathy...Yet another perfect border. The rest of the shot sucks. Just kidding. Love the colors, excellent use of light and dark and the Kathyesque silkiness in the flower. Those are rather strange looking bulbs and almost remind me of a tomato. Square shape was a good choice to highlight the wonderful colors and shapes in this mum.
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
