My Friday foofy this week is an unusual shade of poinsettia - coral. The white spots really make the color pop. I'm going next week, weather permitting, to a large poinsettia grower in southern Wisconsin. I've been seeing new colors in blue, purples and teals on TV in my area so I want to see and shoot the new stuff. All comments and critiques appreciated.

Looks like mine, except for mine are plastic. I just dust them every year. Beautiful shot, Kathy.

I thought you might post a poinsettia. Thisone is really lovely. Are those other colors dyed and will they revert back to their original red, salmon or white?

You could probably get away with a bit more shading in the foreground to bring out the individual leaves more. Outside of that a lovely capture of your paint-splattered poinsettia. Lovely colours and composition.

The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does. ~William Blake
