This was very intensely dark orchid I saw recently - a very deep burgandy but with this incredible glowing center. I used no Orton on this - the orchid seemed to glow on it's own. All comments and critiques appreciated. (Canon G12 1/100 sec, F/3.6,15mm,ISO 250)

Yes, Kathy, I know these orchids very well as they grow wild around the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. They indeed do glow in the dark as does almost everything near the power plant...frogs, birds and those weird three eyed platypuses.

Excellent macro. That reminds me, It's time for me to take Dorothy to her OB/Gyn appointment. :-)
