Another entry for LE's B&W challenge - I tried to retain the velvety texture look to the orchid petals through the conversion process. All comments and critiques appreciated.

I think this is wonderful work Kathy.
The velvety petals are just asking to be touched !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A great looking study, of course around these parts we like to call them flowers. But I guess this illustrates how language evolves. I will have to remember to call them studies from now on so I too can appear educated.
A marvelous closeup on these beautiful blooms Kathy. Good details and focus in the photo.
