This is from a low spot at the beginning of the Kalaulau trail up through Waimea Canyon also known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific". This shot overlooks the beginning of the famous Na'Pali coast used frequently in films. The glorious sky and Pacific stretch out as far as your eye can see - I always want to be in Kauai - the garden isle of Hawaii with the wonderful breezes, the welcoming people and the incredible lush and tropical beauty. Truly a photographers paradise . . .

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I can't blame you for wanting to be here Kathy considering the wall of white snow that will descend on your current location any given day this winter. Mind you can't exactly go skiing down these slopes from the looks of things, and how can you expect to build a proper snowman out of leaves and lush moss? Still tough this is a great looking scene. Beautiful colours in the photo.
