That title is the Hawaiian word for teacher - this lovely young lady was our hula kumu on the boatride up the Wailua river in Kauai. Kauai has the only navigable rivers in Hawaii and this boatride goes to the well known Fern Grotto. Along the way we had an Hawaiian musical group along with two hula instructors. I thought her profile was lovely. All comments and critiques appreciated.

I have to admit I have never heard of the Fern Grotto, but I have a sudden hankering to visit it now. What with it being winter and all that, that is to say. Unfortunately I don't look so great in a grass kilt and I have no idea what to do with the coconut half-shells. A lovely portrait of the nice young lady. Good colours and details in the photo. A few noise artifacts in the photo could be cleared up with a surface blur or some noise reduction software.
