Another macro of a coneflower head. I posted one from a cream colored coneflower yesterday and today, while at my favorite rose garden, I found some nice purple coneflowers and took this macro of just the head. I knew it had rich color when I shot it but the detail was amazing when I uploaded it to my computer - especially those tiny yellow flowers all around. I may switch to this for the contest.
