This was quite the day. When I turned on our main computer this morning the 3 1/2 year old monitor died with barely a whimper. Checked connections etc. and no it was truly and completely dead. I went to the grocery store and in the first aisle a lady, texting on her phone, ran over my foot - I haven't decided if my toe is broken or not. We then tried to purchase a new monitor from the nearest "big box" store only to find their online info as to what is in-stock and where is totally bogus. Another source said they had two of the monitors I wanted in stock - in their warehouse in Las Vegas! We then proceeded to make the 40 mile trek to the computer store that built our current computer last year and found a wonderful Asus 23" monitor on sale. I'm looking at it now and hoping your day was better than mine! My Friday foofy a little early as I don't know what tomorrow will bring.

Gorgeous and such beautiful color Kathy!!! Love the post work! Your day sounds as good as mine was...lol...Never believe what a store says online!! I learned my lesson and the same thing happened to me trying to find wallpaper border. I ended up having to order it online, but if it was MY monitor, I'd be traveling to get one fast too!...lol...Hope tomorrow is a better day!

A lovely shot Kathy.
Hope tomorrow is much better :)
Some days nothing goes right - but you did end up with a great monitor :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I think the color is exceptional Kathy, they keep saying not to text and drive, and I guess that means at the store too. I sure hope your toes are okay, and did you get her name just in case? Back to your image, I think it's beautiful! My week has been crazy here too, and even this morning. I hope it's settled down now. :) Tigs♥ =^..^=

A beautiful image to recuperate to, Kathy. Lovely colours and a nice DoF in the photo. Sorry to hear about your lousy day. You should try a dual monitor set up and have a laptop on hand. That way you'll always have a backup screen.
