This is the view from my condo building early this morning. Dead calm water on our little lake and great mirror reflections. A far cry from Sunday morning when the sky was a roiling black and the winds were 70mph. Six people were killed in my state by the tornadoes - the closest tornado to me was about 100 miles away. So many people lost their homes in about 2 minutes - the incredible power of nature.

Yes, mother nature behaves like one wild feline that our Raj once shot. Innocent appearances and outrageous gusts of temper. This is a sleepy innocent portrait of her majesty Nature. Love the reflections and crisp tones, feels quite chilly even if sunny. Good to hear that you are well and safe, dear Kathy.

A lovely colourful and calm image Kathy.
We watched on TV the devastating tornadoes - it must have been very frightening and such a tragedy for those affected.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
