Another 7 inches of snow last night followed by an artic blast expected to last through the end of January. These are some buckthorn trees that the birds like to hide in during the winter. I used some editing techniques to give it some interest since white can be so boring!

Almost a natural b/w scene, Kathy. The sparrows will be filling the bushes before long. Very well done.

Very nice, Kathy. It looks like a very shallow light rose vignette that works just fine. As for the snow, I think I'm going snow blind :-)

We haven't seen any snow flake here this winter. I don't know whether I should be glad or not. On the one hand I'm missing the opportunity to capture some fine wintry images, but on the other hand I'm not suffering from the cold when doing a photo shoot. Therefore I consider your wonderful image as a good alternative for me. Thanks for sharing Kathy!
